Financial Awards

The Department of Health Care Administration awards departmental financial assistance based primarily on academic credentials, financial need, and available funds. Application instructions for award consideration are provided to admitted applicants.

Departmental Scholarships

The Department of Health Care Administration awards various scholarships to students, with the amounts of these scholarships based on available funds. In a typical year, the average student receives a scholarship of around $20,000 and all admitted students receive at least some financial assistance.


Methodist Healthcare Ministries scholarships

The Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas established an endowed scholarship to honor John E. Hornbeak, LFACHE. This endowment provides tuition benefits to one student each year. The Hornbeak Scholar will demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and leadership potential.
 

External Scholarships

There are typically organizations outside of Trinity University who award  Health Care Administration students other scholarships, with the amounts of these scholarships based on available funds. Contact the department for more information about assistantships and scholarships.


Federal Financial Aid

Federal loans are available for eligible U.S. citizens and permanent residents. Students should complete the FAFSA to determine eligibility. For questions regarding loans, payment plans, or financial aid, contact Student Financial Services at 210-999-8898.
