Learning Healthcare Leadership in the Real World
A residency gives Health Care Administration students the chance to see how healthcare organizations operate day to day. It is an opportunity to learn from working professionals, take on real responsibilities, and better understand where they may want their careers to go.
Trinity students have completed residencies in hospitals, health systems, children’s hospitals, physician groups, consulting firms, and other healthcare organizations. Placements have included both large, multistate systems and smaller community-based providers.

Couple marries at UT Health in Tyler as man's dying wish
After nearly 35 years together, Donald and Renee Hudman of Carthage made their lifelong partnership official at UT Health East Texas as a part of Donald's final wish. Donald was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer in May -- as his conditions worsened, the hospital honored his final wish by converting his hospital room to a wedding ceremony.
