Community Standards help create a safe and respectful campus
Living in a community means looking out for one another, treating others with respect, and taking responsibility for our actions.
Every member of our community plays a role in upholding Trinity’s values and Community Standards, because a strong community is one we build together.
Student Code of Conduct
The Student Code of Conduct is Trinity’s commitment to fostering a learning environment focused on safety where all students can thrive. The Code of Conduct is based upon Trinity’s foundational values, which fosters a community that supports dignity, respect, and inclusivity across all living and learning environments.
Why Community Standards Matter
Our conduct process is designed to be educational, helping students learn from challenges while maintaining a safe and supportive campus community.
More than a set of rules, the Code of Conduct is a developmental framework that helps students learn, grow, and contribute to a thriving campus community. Grounded in a culture of care and respect, it encourages students to engage responsibly with others, navigate challenges with integrity, and develop the skills necessary for collaborative engagement, social responsibility, and active citizenship.
Your Rights and Support
Students involved in the conduct process have rights, resources, and opportunities to ask questions throughout every step.
When challenges arise, the student conduct process provides opportunities for reflection, accountability, and growth. The process helps students understand the impact of their choices, how to better navigate conflict, and develop the judgment and responsibility needed to contribute to a thriving community.
