Trinity President Vanessa Beasley Joins San Antonio Higher Ed Leaders for Presidents’ Panel
Beasley and six other college leaders will discuss the future of higher education at the San Antonio Report’s inaugural event

Trinity University President Vanessa B. Beasley, Ph.D., will join six other top university and college leaders to discuss the future of higher education for the San Antonio Report’s inaugural higher education event titled, “The Presidents’ Panel: San Antonio higher ed leaders open up about the future.”

The panel is an extension of the SA Report’s expanded education journalism, which grew earlier in 2025 with the addition of a dedicated higher ed reporter. According to SA Report publisher Angie Mock, doubling down on education coverage has resonated with the community and San Antonio’s higher-education leadership.

“The community has responded to this much-needed news coverage, along with our city’s top leaders in higher education,” Mock said. “We are excited to have them all together to talk about the future of higher education in this rapidly changing landscape.”  The event is scheduled for Thursday, September 4, at the Witte Museum.
