Trinity hosted a live Mayoral Candidate Runoff Debate on campus with local ABC affiliate KSAT News. The two mayoral runoff candidates faced off in the first and only live televised debate for the 2025 mayoral runoff election. Faculty thought leaders Christine Drennon, Ph.D., and Juan Sepulveda, J.D., along with KSAT anchors Steve Spriester and Myra Arthur, pressed candidates Gina Ortiz Jones and Rolando Pablos about topics that affect San Antonio residents the most.
