Ruth Taylor Recital Hall

Ruth Taylor Recital Hall is a state-of-the-art performance space and is the site of many music department recitals and concerts, University lectures, and outside events. The 312-seat hall features a raised stage and Wenger acoustical shells, positioned against a beautiful maple wood backdrop, creating a superb acoustical environment.

Practice Rooms and Classrooms

The building is made up of three floors that houses music classrooms, rooms for private lessons, labs, and faculty offices.

Our practice rooms are soundproof and equipped with Steinway Concert Grand Pianos. Spaces are open, inviting and composed to serve purpose and allow students to move about with musical instruments or with their groups constantly creating.

Chapel

Parker Chapel is one of Trinity’s premier performance spaces, serving as the setting for cherished musical traditions, distinguished guest artists, and student performances throughout the year. Home to the largest pipe organ in South Texas, the chapel hosts the Parker Chapel Organ Recital Series, Trinity Vespers, Christmas Concerts, master classes, and ensemble performances, giving students opportunities to perform in an acoustically and architecturally inspiring venue.

Laurie Auditorium

Laurie Auditorium is Trinity’s largest performance venue, providing an impressive stage for concerts, ensemble performances, guest artists, and campus traditions, including the Christmas Concert. It's expansive stage and exceptional sight lines create an engaging experience for performers and audiences alike.
