Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, allowing qualified applicants to receive an admission decision as soon as their application is complete. For the best consideration, apply well before the deadline.

Admissions Criteria

Applicants should demonstrate the academic preparation and professional experience needed to succeed in the Executive M.S. program.

Degree Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • All undergraduate majors are considered


Professional Experience

  • Current employment in a healthcare setting with prior management or supervisory experience

Competencies

  • Applicants should have a basic understanding of Accounting, Statistics, and Economics

  • Competency in computer spreadsheet applications is strongly encouraged

 

Attendance Requirements

  • Reliable internet access to participate in distance learning sessions
  • Ability to travel to San Antonio at the beginning of each semester for three day on-campus sessions

Completed Trinity Executive Program application form and a $50.00 non-refundable application fee

Transcripts

Official transcripts sent directly to Trinity University from all colleges and universities previously attended.

Résumé

A résumé or autobiographical sketch detailing your educational background and employment experience.

Statement of Purpose

A brief statement of purpose (1-2 pages typed and double-spaced) explaining your reasons for selecting a career in health care administration.

Letters of Recommendation

Two letters of recommendation from individuals who are familiar with your academic, volunteer, and/or employment performance.

Personal Interview at the invitation of department faculty 

Application Review Process

Admissions decisions are made through a personalized review process designed to evaluate each applicant’s academic background, professional experience, and leadership potential.

Application

Submit your completed application and all required materials.

Step 2

Review

The Admissions Committee reviews your academic credentials and professional experience.

Step 3

Interview

Qualified applicants are invited to interview with Health Care Administration faculty. Following the interview, the committee makes a recommendation to the department chair.

Step 4

Decision and Deposit

Applicants receive an admission decision. Accepted students secure their place in the cohort with a $200 enrollment deposit.

Tuition and Costs

  • Total Program Tuition: $65,000
  • The Executive M.S. uses a flat-rate tuition model that includes all tuition and university fees associated with the program.

  • Eligible students working in our partner organizations will qualify for a 25% tuition discount.
