The Center for Educational Leadership (CEL) has developed and sustained strong and meaningful partnerships with the public school communities in the San Antonio region, state of Texas, and nation.

Your district’s annual membership in the Center for Educational Leadership (CEL), along with continued philanthropic support, provide funds that allow us to continue to offer excellent programs for your district administrators and teachers. The fee each district pays is based on the size of the district as measured by student enrollment.

Superintendants' Forum

These monthly meetings provide an informal forum for the superintendents from across the region to come together, discuss pressing issues, and to interact with local business, community and philanthropic leaders. 


Trinity Prize for Excellence in Teaching

Each year, Trinity University hosts the Trinity Prize and recognizes the Teacher of the Year from each member district.
 

Principal Seminar Series

This series is still in the planning stages so additional information will be shared with you when plans are solidified.

National Speaker Series

Each year, Trinity University hosts an exciting slate of speakers for members of the CEL educational community.


Assistant Principals Cohort

Provides a monthly opportunity for new, returning and aspiring assistant principals to participate in a sequenced learning program focused on instructional leadership, school culture building and data-driven decision-making. The sessions are facilitated by former principals and leadership consultants in the San Antonio region.


Book Studies

Several book studies are scheduled throughout the year. Past topics include Deep Learning by Michael Fullan, Start. Right. Now.: Teach and Lead for Excellence by Todd Whitaker, Jeffrey Zoul, and Jimmy Casas, and An UnCommon Theory of School Change by Fahey, Breidenstein, Ippolito, and Hensley
