Baker Duncan Fine Arts Scholarship
Awarded to incoming first-year and transfer students pursuing a major in studio art, this scholarship recognizes exceptional artistic promise and supports students as they develop their creative practice throughout their undergraduate experience.
Frances K. Hendricks Fine Arts Award
The Frances K. Hendricks Fine Arts Award was established by the Spurs sorority to honor the late Frances Hendricks, a professor in the history department for more than 30 years and a Spurs sponsor. The award honors a graduating senior majoring in one of the fine arts who has made an outstanding contribution to the arts community at the University. It is presented each year to encourage students in the fine arts to become a vital force in the larger life of the campus.
Excellence in Art Award
Selected by the studio art faculty, this award honors graduating seniors whose body of work demonstrates exceptional creativity, technical skill, sustained artistic growth, and the potential to continue making meaningful contributions to the visual arts.
Excellence in Art History Award
Selected by the art history faculty, this award honors graduating seniors who have shown evidence of sustained academic excellence in coursework and the potential to continue with further study in art history.
