Our Time To Share Our Momentum

In 2025, Trinity launched Our Time: The Campaign for Trinity University to build a culture of community support that is critical for success now and in the future, through three goals: philanthropy, alumni participation, and alumni engagement.

Extending the Trinity Commitment

In less than two years, $25 million was raised and doubled with matching funds from the university, the equivalent impact of creating 500 new donor-endowed scholarships.

To keep the momentum going, Trinity’s trustees have offered an additional $10 million in matching funds to extend the Trinity Commitment through the end of the campaign.

FY27 Operating Budget

The FY27 budget reflects the continued effort to right-size the expense budgets that have previously been funded by either university contingency, one-time monies, or sourced by the special draws from the endowment.

The key takeaways of the FY27 Operating Budget include:

  • Robust revenue growth of 5.2% is providing the university with the resources to accurately align the base-building operating expense budgets and ensure realistic financial accountability moving forward
  • Provides a merit-based salary pool as follows:
    • 3.0% for staff and faculty
    • 2.0% for the Executive Leadership Team
  • Maintains the best practice of a true and unallocated contingency based on 5% of Net Student Revenues
  • A transfer of $23M to address construction projects, renewal and replacement of assets, and debt service as reflected in the capital improvement plan
