2026-2027 Season Overview

Trinity Theatre’s 2026–2027 mainstage season invites us into worlds where stories echo and transform. Each play reimagines something familiar—a work of classic literature, a theatrical tradition, a morality tale, a myth—and asks what happens when we step inside a narrative that's already in motion. The semesterly Open Mic Night showcases the talents of students from across campus, and our Student Lab Series offers performances completely produced by students throughout the school year. Trinity Theatre showcases its commitment to a holistic approach to theatre-making through works that challenge our students and entertain our audiences.

"CONCORD FLORAL"

October 2–4 & 7–10 | Attic Theater
Directed by guest director Susanna Morrow

Concord Floral is a one-million-square-foot abandoned greenhouse and a refuge for neighborhood kids; a place all to themselves in which to dream, dare, and come of age. But hidden there is a secret no one wants to confront, and when two friends stumble upon it they set off an unstoppable chain of events, from shadows in parking lots to phone calls from the grave. It’s time for the teens of Concord Floral to start talking.

"THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG"

November 6–8 & 11–14 Stieren Theater
Directed by Nathan Stith

The Cornley University Drama Society has been hard at work on their newest production for weeks. Opening night of The Murder at Haversham Manor has finally arrived! Unfortunately, things quickly go from slightly bad to total disaster. Part farce, part murder mystery, part play-within-a-play, and total hilarity, The Play That Goes Wrong answers the age-old question: What would happen if everything went horribly, horribly wrong?

"EVERYBODY"

February 19–21 & 24–27Stieren Theater
Directed by Chloë Rae Edmonson

Branden Jacobs‑Jenkins’s contemporary retelling of Everyman, the medieval morality play where one human is called by Death to begin a journey toward judgment. In this adaptation, a nightly casting lottery determines which archetypal “somebody” will take on that role, as Everybody asks what we carry with us at the end of life.

Promotional image for the theatrical production "Hurricane Diane" by Madeleine George, featuring an aerial view of a suburban neighborhood overlaid with a dramatic gradient of green and deep purple tones, with the title in bold white serif lettering.

"HURRICANE DIANE"

April 16–18 & 21–24 Stieren Theater
Directed by Rachel Joseph

Behold, Diane! Butch, dripping with charm, she’s a wild permaculture gardener extraordinaire, sure to seduce the shyest of the housewives in her realm. Oh, yeah, did we mention Diane’s the Greek god, Dionysus, now in New Jersey, fighting to return the Earth to its natural state?
