The Office of Emergency Management and Access Control (EMAC) helps protect the university community by preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies while managing secure access to campus facilities. Working in partnership with Public Safety and campus leaders, the office oversees emergency planning, drills, training, threat assessments, and continuity strategies to strengthen campus resilience. EMAC also manages building access control systems, university ID credentials, and related services through the Tiger Card Service Center.
