Step 1: Look for the Ticket Email

  • When? Check your inbox for an email with the subject "Congratulations, Graduates! Secure Your Tickets for Spring Commencement" from @email.
  • Why? This email is your gateway to claim up to 6 tickets for the morning ceremony and 9 tickets for the afternoon ceremony for your family and friends.

 

Step 2: Guest Registration

Graduates don’t need tickets. Your spot is already reserved!

🚨 Important: A student can register each guest or forward the QR code to their friends and family. If you forward the email to someone else, they must use your official student email address to access the tickets.

Each ticket requires:

  • Guest’s first name, last name, and unique email address
  • For guests without an email: please use the graduating student’s email address.
  • Children ages three and under do not require a ticket. However, they cannot occupy a seat and must sit in the lap of a ticketed guest.
  • If a guest needs accessible seating, mark it on the request form. Those indicating that they need accessibility assistance on the registration form will receive an email 1 week before the ceremony with further details. For further questions, email @email.

After registration:

  • Students will receive a confirmation email and QR code for all registered guests.
  • If a guest uses their own email they will also receive their own email confirmation with QR code.
  • Seating is open within the auditorium, but sections reserved for graduates will be clearly marked.
  • Pro Tip QR codes can be saved to Apple or Google Wallet for easy access.
  • If someone doesn’t receive their QR code within 30 minutes, remind them to check their spam folder.

Guest registration will remain open until midnight on Thursday, May 15.

Step 3: Don’t forget your QR Code for easy entry!

Laurie Auditorium doors open one hour prior to the start of each ceremony, 8 a.m. for the morning ceremony and 2 p.m. for the afternoon ceremony.

  • Bring your QR codes (on your device or printed).
  • Guests can leave and re-enter using the same QR code.

If guests have trouble downloading or printing their QR code, they can visit the help desk at Laurie Auditorium on Commencement morning. Be sure to remind them to arrive early, especially if they’re having ticketing issues.

 

Need More Tickets? – Join the Watch Viewing Party in the CSI/CUBE

Already registered but need additional tickets? We’ve got you covered!

We’re offering a Watch Viewing Party with livestreaming and refreshments in the Center for the Sciences and Innovation (CSI), CUBE.

  • Tickets are required for this space.
  • Capacity is limited to 200 guests per ceremony, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Each graduate may request up to four additional tickets for this room, pending availability.

Here’s how to register for the Watch Viewing Party: 

  1. Click on the link you received from the Registrar's Office.
  2. Select "Commencement Spring 2025."
  3. Enter your first name, last name, and email address.
  4. Click on "Add a Guest" and fill in the first name, last name, and email address for each guest. You can add up to four guests.
  5. Review your summary to ensure all information is accurate.
  6. Click "Submit" to complete your registration.
