Arrival and Check-In

 

  • Tickets are required for entry in Laurie Auditorium. For details, visit the ticket page.

    Families and guests should arrive at least 45 minutes before the ceremony starts to have adequate time to park and find their seats. Doors will open approximately 1 hour before the ceremony. View more information for guests.

Note: There is no rehearsal. The marshals will give you full instructions before the ceremony in the assembly room.

Morning Ceremony Candidates

Undergraduate Location: Stieren Theater (located in the Ruth Taylor Theater building)

Candidates will assemble in the Stieren Theater no later than 8 a.m.

Graduate Location: Laurie Auditorium (RCC) Room 319

Candidates will assemble in the Laurie Auditorium (RCC) room 319 no later than 8 a.m.

Candidates who are not checked-in and in line by 8:45 a.m. will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony. 

Afternoon Ceremony Candidates

Undergraduate Location: Stieren Theater (located in the Ruth Taylor Theater building)

Candidates will assemble in the Stieren Theater no later than 2 p.m.

Graduate Location: Laurie Auditorium (RCC) Room 319

Candidates will assemble in the Laurie Auditorium (RCC) room 319 no later than 2 p.m.

Candidates who are not checked-in and in line by 2:45 p.m. will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony. 

After the Ceremony

You did it, congratulations!

Immediately after the ceremony, graduates will exit the Laurie Auditorium and walk to the Magic Stones through a tunnel formed by faculty members congratulating them on their achievements. Upon reaching the Magic Stones, graduates can meet up with their families. Light Refreshments will be served.
