April Ancira ’02 has been selected to serve as grand marshal of the 2027 Battle of Flowers Parade during Fiesta. Ancira, who serves on Trinity University’s Board of Trustees, is vice president of the Ancira Auto Group. She accepted the title Thursday morning in a ceremony at the Alamo, according to a report in the San Antonio Express-News.
“Thank you to the Battle of Flowers team,” she told the audience at the Alamo. “I am deeply honored to serve as grand marshal of your 136th parade, and I look forward to celebrating with all of you on Friday, April 23. Viva Fiesta!”
