The Sunday following the Christmas Concert, the Trinity community and their family members are invited to gather in the Margarite B. Parker Chapel for an annual Christmas service. This year marks the service’s 100th anniversary, celebrated with the premiere of a new work by composition faculty member Brian Bondari, featuring a commissioned text by poet Anthony Charles Silvestri. The 1925 Mirage contains the first mention of the Christmas Vespers service, making the candlelit tradition nearly a century old.

The event is free, and tickets are not required. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking and seating.

Christmas on Oakmont

Sunday, December 7, immediately following Vespers

Oakmont Court

After Vespers, the Trinity community is invited to descend upon Oakmont Court, where the University president and leadership will greet faculty, staff, and students. A tradition that dates back at least to the 1970s, Christmas on Oakmont is a chance for Tigers to roam house to house while enjoying tasty treats, festive music, and good friends along the way.

The event is free, and tickets are not required.
