CultureMap San Antonio has written about KRTU-FM, the well-known jazz station at Trinity University, which has teamed up with Southerleigh Hospitality Group for a new monthly jazz-dining series. Bria Woods '16, KRTU FM’s content director, crafted a playlist that combines classic jazz standards with contemporary bop, designed specifically to complement the coastal-Southern and French brasserie menus at Southerleigh Fine Food & Brewery and Brasserie Mon Chou Chou.

On January 23, 2026, KRTU will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a free concert featuring Jazzmeia Horn, at the Carver Community Center. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. The public is invited.
