Crossing Borders with EAST

East Asian Studies at Trinity (EAST) is a multifaceted Special Interest Program combining the intensive study of East Asian languages and cultures with the study of the social sciences and business within an East Asian context. Through a combination of language training, in-country experiences, internships, and formal exchange programs, EAST educates future leaders in business, government, science, and education to be comfortable and confident in communicating and acting in a global environment. The EAST Special Interest Program offers two degrees for students to choose from.

Chineses Studies (B.S.)

This interdisciplinary program offers students opportunities to study classical and modern Chinese language and literature, classical civilization and philosophy, contemporary art, the ecology of fengshui, and cinema.
