My Therapy Style
Life can feel overwhelming, like being caught beneath a rough wave, struggling to catch your breath and unsure which way is up. You don’t have to navigate those waters alone. I’m Dr. Leo, and I’m glad you’re here.

I believe every person is the author of their own story. Sometimes life, trauma, or other people begin writing chapters that don’t reflect who we truly are. Together, we’ll explore those stories, reconnect with your strengths and values, and create a preferred future that feels more like you. My work is rooted in Narrative Therapy while drawing from ACT, IFS, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I tailor therapy to each person, and clients often describe my style as creative, collaborative, and full of meaningful “plot twists.”

Clinical Interests
Anxiety, trauma, stress and burnout, anger, relationships, identity development, life transitions, and helping individuals reconnect with their values.

Credentials
I earned my bachelor’s degrees in Psychology as well as Fine Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word, followed by my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from Our Lady of the Lake University. I am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas.

What Feeds My Spirit
Running, good matcha, and finding inspiration in stories of all kinds. Whether through books, film, art, or conversations with others, I believe stories have the power to connect us, challenge us, and transform us.

A Slice from My Journey Thus Far
Long before becoming a therapist, I imagined my future as an artist. My background in fine arts taught me how to tell stories through visual expression. While I loved creating art, I eventually realized that what inspired me most wasn’t simply telling my own stories, it was hearing the stories of others.

That realization changed everything.

I discovered that people, much like works of art, are never defined by a single moment or chapter. Every person carries resilience and untold possibilities within them. I found it far more meaningful to walk alongside others as they rewrote limiting narratives and created lives that reflected hope. Today, I see therapy as a creative process. Together, we’ll explore your story, rewrite the chapters that no longer serve you, and help you paint a future filled with hope, purpose, and possibility.
