• Randy Wallace teaches in the disciplines of design, sculpture, as well as topical subjects. He also manages the art studios within the Department of Art and Art History.

Wallace’s visual arts training emphasizes the discipline of sculpture. His professional experience oscillates between studio, exhibition, and education practices. Primary research explores avant-garde histories and tactics dating back to literary nonsense genres of the nineteenth century and continuing through more contemporary experimental forms of art making and storytelling. Randy’s art compositions invest a mix of everyday and novel activities and diverse materials into abstract narratives. The work’s narratives are often presented in the form of installations, performances, or mixed media constructions.
