- Favorite Class in College: My favorite class in college was my capstone class. I really enjoyed this class because I was able to apply everything I had learned throughout my time as an International Business major to real-world situations. For our capstone project, our class worked closely with local organizations and companies to develop solutions to some of their current challenges. My team had the opportunity to work with Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children, where we collaborated with their team to better understand their needs and develop potential solutions. It was a great experience that allowed me to take what I had learned in a classroom and apply it to a meaningful project that could make a real impact in the community.
- One Thing I Love About San Antonio: What I love the most about San Antonio is the community. San Antonians make you feel welcomed and as if you are part of their family. Everyone here is eager to show you their pride for their city and embrace Hispanic culture.
- Advice for your College Search: Plan campus visits and don’t be afraid to ask questions! The best way to know if a college is right for you is to experience it for yourself. Talk with students, faculty, and staff, explore the campus, and ask yourself, “Can I see myself here?” That feeling can often help narrow down your choices and may even be the deciding factor.
