  • Kelly Grey Carlisle’s first book is the memoir We Are All Shipwrecks. Her travels for the book took her to stores and campuses across the country, as well as the Dr. Oz Show and the Nebraska State Prison. Her essays have appeared in venues like Salon.com, Ploughshares, New England Review, The Sun, and The Rumpus, and have been listed as notable essays in Best American Essays. She is currently at work on a book about Durham Cathedral, a 900-year-old cathedral in the north of England. Her favorite things to do--besides teaching Trinity students and exploring medieval dungeons--are running, swimming, and chasing her kids.
