• Schedule a time to meet with Chaplain Jess

    Hello! My name is Chaplain Jess, and it is with great anticipation and enthusiasm that I join the Chapel and Spiritual Life Office. I am an alumna of the University of Houston, and I hold an MDiv from Truett Seminary. Over the course of the preceding years, I have dedicated my efforts to the role of Minister of Children, Youth, and Young Adults at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where I still serve. Beyond my vocational endeavors, my personal inclinations encompass a fondness for the "oh so pretty" combination of pink and green, a penchant for indulging in retail experiences, a deep appreciation for culinary pursuits, and a current preoccupation with the delightful presence of my twin18-month-old nieces. Most of all, I am excited to walk alongside our students and each of you as we pursue perpetual discovery, enduring excellence, and intentional inclusion.
