Hye Yun Kang is Assistant Professor in Political Science at Trinity University, TX. She received her Ph.D. in Political Science from Northwestern University and in Philosophy from the École Normale Supérieure (ENS), Paris in 2019. Her research interests include critical security studies, political violence, and security and law with a focus on critical theory. Her works have been published in International Theory, Global Studies Quarterly, and Violence: An International Journal.
