Graham Edwards, Ph.D.
- Assistant Professor , Earth and Environmental Geosciences
I am an Earth and planetary chemist. I study the elemental and isotopic compositions of rocks and sediments to reconstruct natural histories. I also use physical, chemical, and statistical models to interpret time and process from complex geochemical data Through these techniques, I study the chemical evolution of sediments and soils in arid regions, the ancient behavior of ice sheets, and the early evolution of the solar system. I love a good story, so my research interests lead me to seek out stories of Earth and planetary histories.
I have worked and volunteered in museums for over a decade, and I am passionate about accessible science education. As a recent arrival in Earth and Environmental Geosciences, I'm excited to work with students on geochemical research and community education.
