Emma Treadway is an alum of Trinity’s Engineering Science program (class of 2011), and returns as a member of the faculty after working for several years in industrial automation and pursuing graduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan (M.S.E. 2017, Ph.D. 2019). She looks forward to introducing students to engineering both in the classroom and through research. Her research explores physical human-robot interaction with a focus on identifying and overcoming barriers to physical human-robot communication in applications including haptic rendering, prosthetics, and rehabilitation.
