• Dr. Chloë is an interdisciplinary scholar, educator, and theatre maker. As a dramaturg, she likes to collaborate on performances that facilitate rich dialogues between audiences, artists, and the community. She is currently co-writing a book about commercial performance with seven other scholars from the US, UK and Canada. Her 2023 monograph explores the historical intersections of US drinking cultures with theatre and performance practice. She's recently published book chapters on tiki bars as immersive theatre, performing and teaching with AI, and the ancient affinity between wine and theatre. Her work has appeared in TDR, Performance Research, Performance Matters, PAJ, and Arab Stages.

    Dr. Chloë is an active member of the San Antonio chapter of Bonfire, a women's group invested in building community through service and civic engagement on a local level. Some of their recent projects in San Antonio have included volunteering at Ronald McDonald House and a partnership with the League of Women Voters.
