Trinity University provides leaves for time off as needed for employees:

- Short term Medical Leave
Bereavement Leave
Sometimes life presents you with the unexpected. Trinity offers paid leave in the event of a death of a member of the employee’s immediate family. Review the bereavement leave policy.
Court Duty Leave
Trinity provides paid leave to employees who are required to participate in a legal process, under certain circumstances. Review the policy details.
Family Medical Leave
Trinity University provides family medical leave to employees in accordance with the law. Find information about the availability of family medical leave and the process for requesting and reporting such leave.
Holiday Leave
The University acknowledges and compensates for holiday leave. The Holiday Leave policy establishes paid time-off for designated University holidays and to identify how employees who are required to work on a designated holiday will be compensated.
Work related injury or illness
If an employee is injured or becomes ill as a result of his/her normal work duties, report the incident to apply for worker’s compensation.

Workday is the official place to request, review, and approve absences.
Using Workday, employees can easily request time off, review and approve leave requests, view their leave balance, and access a variety of other HR-related features.
