Description
The Neidorff Scholars Program is the premier leadership and professional development experience at the Michael Neidorff School of Business. This selective cohort of high-achieving students combines Trinity’s distinctive liberal arts education with rigorous business learning, global experiences, executive engagement, and personalized career preparation.
Neidorff Scholars are prepared to become innovative leaders who solve complex problems, create value for organizations, and make a positive difference in the world.
Scholars will be awarded $1,000 in scholarship for 4 years.
Eligibility
Who is eligible:
Undergraduate, First-Year students planning to major in Accounting, Business, Business Analytics, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business or Marketing.
Who is not eligible:
Transfer, continuing, or graduate students
Test scores:
Standardized Test Scores (Optional)
Trinity does not have a preference for ACT or SAT. Trinity uses the highest test scores for each test and subtests submitted for consideration.
GPA:
Awards are determined based on the official high school transcript and rigor of curriculum. Core GPAs are recalculated on an unweighted 4.0 scale.

How to Apply
Step 1
Apply to Trinity by Early Decision or Early Action Deadline
Apply for Trinity undergraduate admission through Early Decision I (ED) or Early Action (EA).
Trinity application opens: August 1
Trinity application deadline: November 1
Step 2
Submit the Neidorff Scholars Application
The Neidorf Scholar award requires an application and short video submission in addition to your application for admission to Trinity University. Students will be invited to apply for this award.
Neidorff Scholars application opens: December 15th
Neidorff Scholars application deadline: January 15th
Step 3
Awardees will be invited to attend a Neidorff Informational Session on March 20th (in person) or March 30th (virtually)
Awardees will be invited to visit campus for our Neidorff programming on March 20, 2027.
Separate application required.
Deadline
Apply to Trinity by the Early Decision or Early Action deadline. You will be then invited to submit the Neidorff Scholars application by January 15.
Important Details
Selection Criteria
- Consideration will be given through the standard admissions process.
- Recipients are selected without regard to income.
Renewal Information
- Applicants must declare interest in majoring in a business field at Trinity
- Renewable annually for up to 8 semesters
- Award recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress and at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Academic progress is reviewed at the end of each academic year.
- Must be enrolled full-time for each semester
Additional Details
- Scholarships are applied toward fall and spring tuition only, and are not available for summer study
- Scholarships do not require repayment.
