What You'll Study
As an Entrepreneurship minor at Trinity University, you’ll turn ideas into ventures through coursework in opportunity recognition, business planning, marketing, finance, innovation, and leadership.
Trinity’s entrepreneurship program equips students from diverse disciplines with essential, real-world skills and empowers them to succeed in any field they pursue.

Curriculum Requirements
This minor requires 24 hours of coursework divided into four sections: Entrepreneurial Foundations, Expanding Your Lens (entrepreneurial frameworks), Applied Experience (internships), and Putting it All Together (apply knowledge, experience, and skills).
Taught by real-world entrepreneurs, these foundational classes provide minors with an introduction to the ideas, processes, and practices essential for understanding and launching entrepreneurial projects.

Rooted in a liberal arts foundation, the program blends creative problem-solving and critical thinking with hands-on frameworks like Lean Startup. Students learn to identify opportunities, understand stakeholder needs, and navigate uncertainty.
Creative Inquiry in Entrepreneurship
Explore entrepreneurial creation at the intersection of curiosity, creativity, and venture building. Human-centered design and an entrepreneurial mindset, this course guides students to identify opportunities, engage users, and test ideas.
Entrepreneurial Strategy
Entrepreneurial Strategy challenges students to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the real work of building and operating a venture and making decisions under uncertainty.
Electives
Choose from approved electives from across a variety of majors or go deeper with Social Innovation, Entrepreneurial Sales, or Entrepreneurship via Acquisition.
Applied Experience
Option to intern in Students + Startups, apply your Trinity Incubator course credit, and combine your Stumberg Prelim experience with the Pitch and Pitch Competition Class.
Entrepreneurial Leadership Studio
Leadership Studio is a culminating course focused on integrating and applying the skills developed throughout the Entrepreneurship minor. Through short, intensive project sprints, students build a portfolio demonstrating their leadership approach, applied competencies, and reflective understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset.
