Managing the Production of Goods and Services
After tooling up with basic mathematical and statistical ideas students will investigate the decision making process and necessary techniques needed to produce goods and services from the managerial perspective.
Literary Studies
Students will explore the history and diversity of American, British, and world literatures in English. In addition to a literary historical survey, an introduction to literary-critical methodologies, or a special topics course designed for non-majors, students will take two upper-division courses in English literary genres, movements, and/or major figures.
Latin Language, Literature, and Society
In this Discovery you will build upon your knowledge of Latin and encounter some of the major works written in the Latin language.
Jewish Studies
This Discovery provides students with a comprehensive perspective of Jewish civilization by offering an overview of Jewish history and literature.
Global Religion
In the “Global Religion” Discovery, students engage the history, practices, and texts of global religious traditions in their cultural contexts.
German Studies
The German Studies discovery offers students an opportunity to attain increased fluency in German language and cultural knowledge as well as the option of taking at least one of our many campus-wide German Studies courses taught in English that include art history, film, history, philosophy, and political science.
Geosciences
The Geosciences Discovery course sequence will provide students with an introduction to the earth, earth processes and history, and the geological resources, geologic hazards and environmental issues relevant to society.

This interdisciplinary Discovery focuses on the process of generating creative ideas, designing a product, service, or organization, and getting those designs out into the world in real, tangible ways.
