The Tiger Card Office is responsible for the issuance and collection of campus keys.
Please familiarize yourself with the Access Control Key Policy. It outlines the procedures for requesting, managing and returning keys.

Note:
*Costs associated with re-keying areas with a sub-master and above may also warrant re-keying an office space (or multiple areas), suites, buildings, etc., which would be the responsibility of the Department/Division for which the key was issued.
**Requests for key lock change/re-core due to lost/misplaced/stolen keys is in addition to the key replacement fee
Requesting Keys
- All requests are to be submitted through the Asset Essentials portal. Select locks/keys from the “work category” drop down menu. Include your name, ID number and room you are requesting access to.
- Key requests will be processed within 2-3 business days. You will receive email notification when they are ready for pickup.
- Keys can be picked up at the Tiger Card Office (Storch 005).
- Staff picking up keys are required to present identification in person. Faculty may work with their administrative staff to obtain their keys.
Returning Keys
- Keys can be returned at the Tiger Card Office (Storch 005)
- It is the responsibility of the appropriate department chair/director or designee to ensure that all keys are returned.
- To make alternative arrangements, email the Tiger Card Office.
Lost Keys
- All requests for lost or damaged key replacements are to be submitted through the Asset Essentials portal. Simply select locks/keys from the “work category” drop down menu.
- Inform your department chair, director or administrative staff immediately.
- If you find a lost key, you can turn it into the following locations
- Trinity University Police Department (538 Kings Ct.)
- Key Control Office (Facility Services #215)
- Tiger Card Office (Storch 005)
Submitting a Service Ticket
- Existing users – Login using the credentials you created when you set up the account.
- New users - Select “Sign Up as New User.” Follow the prompts to set up your account.
- Login Issues - Email @email.
