We are delighted to invite you to the fall Book Club. This will be an opportunity to gather in thoughtful dialogue around timely and engaging works by Michael Fischer, Ph.D., Janet S. Dicke Professor in the Public Humanities and author of How Books Can Save Democracy. Hosted by President Beasley, this session will provide an opportunity to explore ideas and share perspectives.  

Registration is now open. The first 12 participants who register will receive a complimentary copy of the book. You will be notified via email when the book is available for pick up.

  • Date and time: Friday, December 5, 8:30 a.m.–10 a.m.
  • Location: We plan for the discussion to be held at President Beasley's residence. If the location changes due to space constraints, we will let registrants know via email on the Friday before the meeting.
  • Breakfast will be provided.
