The Trinity University men’s and women’s track and field teams earned All-Academic Team honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, while nine Tigers were recognized as All-Academic Athletes. To qualify, teams posted a spring semester GPA of at least 3.10, while individual honorees maintained a minimum 3.30 GPA and met national championship or performance criteria.
The individual honorees were Bocar Diagana ’26, Kyle Fix ’28, Halle Hamilton ’28, Annabelle Lanik ’28, Sophia Ortiz ’28, Emerson Voldan ’28, Ciara Catton ’29, Isabella Gaylord ’29, and Brightly Thoning ’29. Diagana collected the award for the third time in his career, while Voldan earned her second straight recognition. The academic honors cap another successful season in which both Tiger teams finished second at the SAA Outdoor Championships, the women captured the SAA Indoor title, and several athletes competed at the NCAA Championships.
