Overview
In this comparative literature, genre, culture, and cinema Discovery, you step through the looking glass into worlds of the imagination. These courses focus on works of art, literature, film, and games that might initially seem far from the world we know, yet they serve as mirrors that help us better understand and shape the world in which we live. The power of fiction and art to take us elswhere--to other planets, the future, into horror and apocalyptic wastelands, and through science/fiction pandemics, magical forests, and mythological realms--also enacts creative thought experiments exploring or reenvisioning cultures.
