Subject: RE-register/Register NOW for TRINALERT

Trinity Students,

It’s time to register for Trinity’s Emergency Notification System (TrinAlert) again! All accounts have been purged. Thus, if you registered before August 1, 2008, you must re-register your mobile phone number to continue receiving alerts. This is to ensure that ALL current Trinity students will receive alerts.

Register now!  CLICK HERE! Or, simply log into Tiger’s Lair and click the TrinAlert link.

Even if you had an account last year, prior to August 1, 2008, you will need to fill out the “new user” form to create an account.

Registrants need to have their mobile phones nearby to receive a verification text message to complete the registration.

As you may already know, TrinAlert is one part of Trinity’s emergency notification plan which also includes email messages, campus phone audio broadcasts, campus phone text messages, Tiger’s Lair announcements and information posted on www.trinity.edu website.

TrinAlert is a system designed to alert the campus community via text message on their mobile phone in the event of an emergency or urgent situation – whether you are on or off campus.

TrinAlert cell phone numbers are kept completely confidential. Text messages will be sent only in the event of an emergency or urgent situation involving potential threat to our safety. Please note that you may receive a system test verification message on occasion.
