licensed beds and provides care to people in 29 counties across
The CEO of Johnson City Medical
Center, reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Mountain States Health
Alliance’s Tennessee Hospital Operations.
The CEO plans, directs and monitors the activities of JCMC and ensures
that the activities of JCMC serve to promote the achievement of MSHA’s mission, the fulfillment of its vision, and that all
business is conducted in accordance with its values. Through reporting Assistant Vice Presidents,
Strategic Service Unit (Service Line) Vice Presidents, facility Directors and
other management staff the CEO is responsible for the day to day operations of
JCMC.
The
successful candidate will have a graduate degree in Health Care Administration,
Business Administration, Public Administration or equivalent experience from a
nationally-recognized, accredited program.
The CEO will have an outstanding record of achievement with at least ten
(10) years of progressive senior healthcare leadership experience in an acute
care setting preferably in a similar sized healthcare system that is highly matrixed with respect to its management structure.
